What’s Needed Wednesday
Wondering what we need most…right now?
Check here each Wednesday for a list of the items we’re running low on. You can also look for the familiar yellow sticky note each Wednesday on Facebook and Instagram. While any food, hygiene, or basic cleaning supply donation is always welcome, What’s Needed Wednesday allows us to answer the often-asked question, “What is the Help Center in need of the most right now?”
Donations – including fresh and frozen produce; we have refrigerators and freezers – can be dropped off at the Help Center anytime we’re open. You can also drop donations in the Second Harvest barrels near the Customer Service counters at both Mt. Juliet Kroger locations (no perishables, PLEASE). We collect these donations every week!
If there’s one thing we know, it’s that every donation of any size adds up! Thank you for giving back to this incredible community that we live in!

Summer can be a little more challenging when regular donations tend to slow just as the Summer Food Program needs extra support. Our regular pantry shelves and the Summer Food Program both need your help!
You can view our Amazon Wish List for the Summer Food Program via this link: Summer Food Program Amazon Wish List. The most-needed items are chocolate milk boxes, cereal cups, and fruit cups. You’re welcome to shop directly from the Wish List or purchase similar/off-brand items wherever you shop.
Thank you for helping make sure every child and family in our community has healthy food on the table. Your kindness means the world to families in need!
**We DO NOT need canned green beans or corn at this time, thanks!**
